Wednesday night 7-8:30
National Girls Ministry
Prims Club (K-2nd): Our class will be learning about Jesus’ parables in continuing our Bible timeline. Our verse for the month is: “Since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made." Romans 1:20.
Stars (3rd – 5th) – We will be starting to take what the main sanctuary has been learning about. We will start the badge "Personal Evangelism" by learning Matthew 22:37-39. We will be learning by our love they (our friends and loved ones) will know Jesus. Then the following badge we will start on will be the "Introduction of Foreigh Missions" that teaches us that God wants us to share His love around the world and not just in the United States. We look forward to learning more ways to share God's Love.
Friends Club (5th+) - We will be reading the Bible beginning to the end and our motto is "Learn it, Love it, Live It". Our scripture is: When the trumpeteres and singers were as one---the glory of the Lord filled the house of God. 2 Chronicles 5:13-14. We are thanking God for his beautiful music and how one day in heaven our song will be praises to Him.
Wednesday night 7-8:30
Royal Rangers
Starting in March the boys will be digging deeper into working on their Frontiersman Badges. There are a total of eight badges ranging with Rope, Fire Craft, Cooking, Compass Work, Lashing(which is typing sticks together), First Aid Safety, Camping, and Tool Craft. Each badge builds on the courage, acheivement, friendship, leadership, and Woodsman Ship of being a Man. However, the biggest accomplishment is the relationship of God and with one another and how to hold each other accountable.
Weekends
Xtreme Kids Ministries
In 2013, we began our New Testament survey. In March, we will study the death and resurrection of Jesus during our weekend services. Who was this man? Why was His death so important? And how do we know He came back from the dead? We will conclude with a celebration on March 31st @ 10 am with a 10,000 egg hunt at Fountain Valley High School, 17816 Bushard Ave, Fountain Valley, 92708. We invite all kids and their parents to attend. Invite your friends! This event is for all ages! We want to continue to encourage kids to read their Bible. There are many ways this can be accomplished. Young kids love stories. Parents can use an age appropriate Bible and read one story each dinner time or before bed. This is a great way to reinforce what has been taught. Older kids can partner with their parents in reading the Bible. Don’t give up if you skip sections. Our goal is to give kids more of God’s word this year.
