What is a Small Group?
Small Groups also referred to as "Cell Groups" or “Family of Twelve,” is a small-group ministry which facilitates evangelism, discipleship, and personal ministry to member’s hurts and needs. It consists of small groups typically not more than twelve families led by trained and anointed leaders.
Why Have Small Groups?
In large traditional churches, people tend to get “lost in the crowd.” People may not feel a sense of belonging, and personal relationships are frequently lacking or are shallow. Needs may not be met, support is not there when they really need it and people may not be discipled into Christian maturity. Their God-given gifts may not be allowed a forum in which to operate effectively. New converts frequently come in the front door and right out the backdoor, because no one is there to disciple them.
